A heartfelt letter written by a young student, Ezekiel, to his favorite teacher, a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member, has gone viral online.

The female corper, @cutedhera, shared the handwritten note on TikTok, revealing a sweet bond between her and Ezekiel.

“Madam, I miss you. You are the only teacher I love in this school. No other teacher like you. I say may the Lord God bless you, give you long life…” the letter read.

Ezekiel concluded the emotional note with a formal salutation and surprisingly included his phone number.

@Cutedhera, who recently completed her assignment at her place of primary assignment, admitted to being touched by the gesture.

“I’m going to miss him too,” she said.

Social media users reacted with warmth and admiration.

“This is so emotional.” – Tessy’s hair empire

“Exactly what the most stubborn boy wrote to my PTI teacher back then in school.” – Cece

“My pikin too like woman. He no go disappoint.” – Holysinner2222

“A teacher’s influence can be life-changing,” said educational consultant, Mrs. Adenike Oyinlola.

This is not the first time a student’s heartfelt letter has made headlines. Previously, a secondary school teacher shared a letter from a student professing his love.
