Senator Ishaku Abbo, representing Adamawa State, is facing controversy again after a viral video surfaced, allegedly showing him in a compromising position with a married woman. However, Abbo denies the allegations, claiming the video is a case of “timid blackmail” sponsored by his political opponents.
The video, which has gone viral, shows a light-skinned man engaging in sexual intercourse with a woman, but Abbo’s face and body are not visible. Abbo argued that it’s impossible to identify him from the video, stating, “How can you identify a person without seeing his face, his body, only parts of his legs and say it is Senator Abbo?”
Abbo, who was previously involved in a scandal where he attacked a breastfeeding mother in a sex toy shop, claimed that the video is an attempt to tarnish his image. He threatened legal action against those responsible for circulating the video and stated that he remains undeterred, confident in his supporters’ loyalty due to his performance while in the Senate.
The senator drew parallels with a similar case involving another northern senator, who won an election despite being shown in a sex video. Abbo expressed confidence that his supporters would still vote for him, despite the allegations.
