The EndBadGovernance activists in Abuja’s Federal Capital Territory have shifted their demonstration from Moshood Abiola Stadium to the well-known Berger Roundabout.

An order from the FCT High Court on Wednesday had restricted the protesters to demonstrating within the stadium premises.

Adhering to the court’s directive, the activists convened at the stadium on Thursday but refused to be confined to its interior by security forces.

Subsequently, the protesters vacated the stadium and proceeded in large numbers following news that their counterparts at Eagles Square were being confronted by security personnel.

When they reached their new location, police stationed there repeatedly deployed tear gas against them.
