Engr. Festus Oladimeji Oseni, the pioneer Director of Development and Civil Engineering Services of the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) has been reported to have passed on.

In a statement announcing the news of his death, the Oseni family of Owo, Ondo State, revealed that Oseni died on June 3, 2024, at the age of 90.

The family spokesperson, Joyceline Adeleye (nee Oseni) affirmed that their father, the deceased who is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-granddaughter passed on peacefully.

The statement reads: “The late Oseni was the pioneering Director of Development and Civil Engineering Services, Federal Capital Development Authority, Abuja.

“Wake keep and Commendation Service is scheduled for Monday, July 8th, 2024 at Our Saviour Anglican Church, Onikan, Lagos.

“Funeral service will be held at the same church on Tuesday, July 9, from 11 am. Interment follows with immediate family members only”.
