The Abuja Electrical Distribution Company has said that if any of its clients do not pay their overdue bills within the next 72 hours, the company will cut off their electrical supply as payment must be received by Monday, June 3, 2024.
Victor Ojelabi, the AEDC‘s acting managing director, made this claim in a statement on Friday.
Ojelabi noted that “The timely payment of electricity bills remains crucial for the continued operation and enhancement of AEDC’s infrastructure, which is essential for delivering uninterrupted service to the community.”
“Customers who are yet to settle their outstanding bills within the next 72 hours will face disconnection of their electricity supply,” he said, highlighting the need to meet payment deadlines.
AEDC reaffirmed the company’s dedication to offering dependable and efficient service, but cautioned that timely payment of power bills is necessary for this to happen.
It is recommended that customers who have unpaid invoices clear their accounts right as to prevent service interruptions.
