Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has taken to social media to debunk claims that she has not paid her house rent for over two years and is being evicted from her home.
Angela posted on her Instagram page on Wednesday, October 16, stating that all the rumors were false.
“I’m not owing any rent,” she emphasized. She also complained that if Nigerians could believe that video was circulating online, they could believe anything they saw on social media.
Angela also questioned the authenticity of the eviction video circulating online, stating that she and her son were not even present in the footage.
According to the actress, whoever shared the video was trying to tarnish her image, and she promised to take action against those spreading the fake information.
“This is not just about me; it’s about using one person as a scapegoat to teach others a lesson,” Angela stated.
