Nollywood actress and producer, Toyin Abraham stirred different reactions as she clashed with trolls on X after she was asked to share the plans President Tinubu had told her to the public.
The post read,” Maybe one day Toyin Abraham will divulge the plans Bola Tinubu shared with her to the public. I strongly believe we deserve to hear “.
It is recalled that prior to the 2023 elections,Toyin Abraham openly shared her choice to support president Tinubu.
She wrote, ” For the first time, I met the incoming president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and he shared some of his ideas,visions and strategy to solve the challenges before us,as a Nation. Listening to him indeed renewed my hope and reaffirmed why he is my choice”.
Reacting to this post, several X users reached out to the actress on the platform to inquire about the plans and asked her to share them. Some of them went ahead to curse her and her family.
In response to some of the questions that were directed to her, she said she was also promised good governance and happiness for everyone so why should she be blamed when things doesn’t go as planned.
When the actress was asked if she believes that the current administration has failed,she pointed out that she has faced her career as an actress and she is not a politician and not in government .She added that she regrets revealing to the public her political choice during the 2023 elections.
However, regardless of all the insults and cures that were rendered on the actress,there were others who showed their support to her.
One of the post read,” In as much as I didn’t support your candidate, I still believe in democracy, everyone has a right to vote for whoever they believe in, no evil will be fall you and your family.”
