2027: ‘Don’t Be Deceived’ — Oseni Warns Nigerians Ahead of Polls

Rufai Oseni has urged Nigerians to remain vigilant during the 2027 general elections and closely monitor the voting and result-collation process.

Oseni, while discussing the 2027 elections, warned voters against assuming that the outcome of recent off-cycle elections would necessarily be replicated in the general election.

He stressed the importance of voters understanding the electoral process and taking steps to protect their votes rather than relying solely on political parties or electoral officials.

According to him, Nigerians must remain alert from the point of voting through the announcement of results, particularly given the challenges that have affected previous elections.

Oseni also cautioned Nigerians against being deceived by political developments ahead of the 2027 polls, urging them to pay attention to what happens at their polling units and during the collation of results.

His comments come as preparations for the 2027 general elections intensify, with stakeholders continuing to raise concerns about vote-buying, misinformation, security and the credibility of the electoral process.
