Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has predicted that President Bola Tinubu will secure 70 per cent of the votes cast in the 2027 presidential election.
Tompolo made the prediction through the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, during the distribution of campaign vehicles to state chapters of the Door-to-Door Campaign Movement for Tinubu in Kano.
The campaign movement’s national coordinator said Tinubu’s policies and economic reforms had attracted growing support across the country.
He specifically pointed to developments in infrastructure and projects such as the Kano rail project, the Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano gas pipeline and the ongoing revamp of the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport.
Tompolo also referred to the growing number of state governors in the All Progressives Congress, saying the development reflected what he described as increasing support for the President.
He said the campaign movement had commenced the inauguration of its chapters across northern and southern states, with plans to deploy ambassadors to polling units and households as part of its door-to-door mobilisation strategy.
According to him, the movement is focused on taking its campaign directly to Nigerians ahead of the 2027 elections.
The campaign vehicles were donated to support the activities of the movement’s state chapters as they intensify mobilisation efforts for Tinubu.
Tompolo maintained that he was confident Nigerians would support the President at the polls and predicted that Tinubu would win the 2027 election.
