The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has said that reforms introduced by President Bola Tinubu’s administration have led to a reduction in airfares and improvements in aviation safety.

Keyamo made the statement while highlighting developments in Nigeria’s aviation sector, including the introduction of new airlines and aircraft.

According to the minister, the government’s reforms have encouraged competition among airlines, resulting in lower ticket prices for passengers.

He also pointed to measures aimed at improving aviation safety and strengthening the sector’s overall operations.

Keyamo maintained that the reforms were designed to create a more competitive aviation industry while improving the experience of air travellers.

The minister’s comments come as the Federal Government continues its efforts to expand the aviation sector, attract investment and improve air transport services across the country.
