The Carabao Cup will move into its fourth-round stage with 11 teams already through, while the remaining five places will be determined across the next set of fixtures.
Wednesday’s draw will come after Manchester United’s meeting with Brighton. Pien Meulensteen will oversee the ceremony, with Jamie Redknapp and Ashley Young tasked with picking the teams.
Six clubs had booked their tickets before Tuesday’s matches — Bournemouth, Crystal Palace, Sunderland, Newcastle United, Chelsea and Bradford City.
Arsenal, Liverpool, Fulham, Brentford and Peterborough United then joined them following Tuesday’s action.
Arsenal produced a 4-2 away win against Ipswich Town, while Liverpool saw off Tottenham Hotspur 3-1. Fulham came from their clash with West Ham United with a 3-2 victory, Brentford defeated Reading 2-1, and Peterborough eliminated Barnsley on penalties after the game ended 3-3.
The fourth-round picture will become clearer after Wednesday’s four remaining fixtures. Everton are set to face Wolves, Fleetwood Town will meet Sheffield United, Coventry City will play Aston Villa, and Manchester United will take on Brighton.
One place, however, will remain unresolved when the draw is made. Manchester City, last season’s holders, do not play Norwich City until Thursday, meaning Wednesday’s draw will include a placeholder for the winner.
The fourth-round fixtures are due to be played in the week beginning October 26.
