Plans for protests are already underway. Fans are preparing demonstrations ahead of the FA Cup final against Manchester City, along with coordinated actions during the team’s final home game of the season.

At the heart of the unrest is a widening gap between supporters and the club’s leadership. Frequent managerial changes and the absence of a clear footballing direction have left many questioning the long-term vision.

The situation has been further unsettled by the search for yet another permanent manager, following the dismissal of Liam Rosenior, which has only added to the sense of instability.

Off the pitch, financial concerns are also raising eyebrows. The club recently posted a £262 million pre-tax loss, while ongoing scrutiny from UEFA under a financial agreement continues to place their spending under the spotlight.

For many fans, the combination of poor performances and heavy financial losses is worrying, sparking doubts about whether the current strategy is sustainable.

Supporter groups such as “Not A Project CFC” have become more vocal, arguing that the club’s identity is being eroded by what they see as an experimental and inconsistent approach.

Complaints over ticketing decisions and what some fans perceive as a lack of commitment on the pitch have only deepened the divide.

Even so, there remains a window for Boehly and his partners to steady the ship. Winning the upcoming final could provide some relief, but for many supporters, that alone is not enough.

They are demanding lasting change—clear leadership, stability, and a defined plan to return Chelsea FC to the top of European football.
