Ajibade Tops List of Nigeria’s Most Valuable Female Footballers

Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade has been identified as the most valuable Nigerian female footballer based on the latest market value rankings released by football data platform Soccerdonna.

The 26-year-old attacker is currently valued at approximately €425,000, a reflection of her impressive displays for both her club and the Nigerian national team. Her performances in Europe and her leadership role with the Super Falcons have also contributed to her current standing.

Midfielder Jennifer Echegini occupies the second spot with an estimated value of €375,000 following her steady progress and impact at club level. Gift Monday is ranked third with a valuation of €300,000 after continuing to show her quality in the United States women’s league.

Multiple African Women’s Player of the Year winner Asisat Oshoala is placed fourth with a market value of €280,000, maintaining her status as one of Nigeria’s most accomplished female footballers. Goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie completes the top five with an estimated value of €125,000.

Other players who made the list include Rinsola Babajide, Michelle Alozie, Toni Payne, Rofiat Imuran and Uchenna Kanu, further highlighting the depth of talent within Nigerian women’s football.

The latest rankings reflect the growing global recognition of Nigerian female players, many of whom continue to shine in competitive leagues across Europe and North America.
