President Bola Tinubu has extended his felicitations to the management and staff of Kresta Laurel Limited as the leading indigenous elevator and electromechanical company celebrated its 35th anniversary.

In a statement released on Thursday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President applauded the company for its innovation, professionalism, and dedication to excellence. He noted that the company’s enduring success reflects its resilience, visionary leadership, and adherence to strong corporate values.

“Kresta Laurel Limited is a key player in the elevators and escalators industry, with its head office in Lagos, branches in Abuja, Port Harcourt, and Uyo, as well as a zonal office in Ibadan. The firm has also been honoured with the African Order of Merit in Cranes, Escalators, and Elevator Technology,” the statement said. President Tinubu commended the company for its continued trust in the Nigerian economy and its contributions to national development.

At the company’s 35th Anniversary Gala and Award Night held in Lagos, the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, described Kresta Laurel’s three-and-a-half decades of operations as a journey defined by focus, hard work, and commitment.

“When this company was founded, its vision was to overcome barriers and play an active role in building Nigeria. Kresta Laurel doesn’t just transport people and goods it drives economic growth. It supports modern architecture and serves as a quiet force behind our cities. This success is the result of dedication and brilliance,” Edun said.
