American rapper Cardi B has set a new milestone as the only female rapper to debut her first two studio albums at number one on the Billboard 200 chart.
Her sophomore project, Am I The Drama?, opened at the top spot with 200,000 equivalent album units in its first week, according to Billboard. The achievement follows the groundbreaking success of her 2018 debut, Invasion of Privacy, which also debuted at number one.
Confirming the feat on Sunday, Billboard announced via Instagram: “Cardi B scores her second No. 1 on the Billboard 200 as ‘Am I The Drama?’ debuts atop the tally.” The outlet noted that with 200,000 units earned in the U.S., the album marks 2025’s biggest first week for an R&B/hip-hop album by a woman.
Beyond its historic debut, Am I The Drama? also recorded the strongest opening week of 2025 for a female hip-hop/R&B artist, powered by huge streaming numbers and strong physical sales from multiple vinyl and CD editions. Cardi B is expected to launch an arena tour in February 2026 to promote the album.
Adding to the celebrations, Cardi B secured a Guinness World Record on September 19, 2025, for “most deliveries by UAV drones in one hour.” Partnering with Walmart, Atlantic Records, and Wing Drone Delivery, she distributed 176 signed copies of Am I The Drama? across the Dallas–Fort Worth metro area in Texas.
Guinness confirmed the achievement in an official statement: “Most deliveries by UAV drones in one hour: 176, by @iamcardib, @AtlanticRecords, @Wing & @Walmart at multiple locations across the Dallas–Fort Worth region, Texas, USA.”
The innovative rollout marked a first in music marketing, tying a world record directly to an album release through drone technology. Reflecting on the moment, Cardi B described it as “a special moment for my fans and a crazy new way to drop music.”
