Afrobeats icon David “Davido” Adeleke and his wife, Chioma Rowland-Adeleke, have celebrated their grand white wedding in Miami, Florida, under the hashtag #Chivido2025.
The couple, who formalised their union with traditional rites in Lagos in June 2024 and a court wedding in March of the same year, arrived for the weekend-long festivities in coordinated white and black ensembles.
Speaking during the Havana Night pre-wedding event on Friday, Davido disclosed that the celebration cost $3.7 million. “I spent $3.7 million cash, so we should know what we are doing here,” he told guests.
The opulent event drew an array of high-profile attendees, including Adekunle Gold, Teniola Apata (Teni), Zlatan Ibile, and entertainer Tunde Ednut.
Davido and Chioma, who welcomed twins in October 2023, have shared a close relationship for more than two decades. The wedding also holds emotional significance for the couple, taking place nearly three years after the tragic passing of their son, Ifeanyi, in 2022.
