Nigerian rapper OdumoduBlvck is gearing up for the release of his highly anticipated album The Industry Machine, set to drop later in 2025.
In a recent interview on Radio Jusmen, OdumoduBlvck unveiled major details about the project, revealing heavyweight features from Afrobeats superstar Davido and UK rap icons Skepta and Stormzy. “The Industry Machine will feature Davido, Skepta, Stormzy. It’s intense and it’s going to change a lot for us,” he said, describing the guest lineup for what will be his third studio album in three years.
The rapper compared the upcoming project to a seismic moment in his career, likening his previous project The Machine Is Coming to a biblical John the Baptist a forerunner preparing the way for The Industry Machine. “I’m the machine. This is the arrival everyone has been waiting for,” he declared.
This marks his second collaboration with Davido, following their recent link-up on “Funds” off Davido’s 5ive album. OdumoduBlvck has also worked with Skepta on “Jangilova,” a track that featured both the UK star and actor-rapper Idris Elba.
While promoting his forthcoming album, OdumoduBlvck is also in the midst of a heated feud with fellow rapper Blaqbonez. During the interview, he slammed Blaqbonez’s recent claim to being Nigeria’s best rapper, calling it a slight to veteran artists who laid the foundation for the genre. The beef escalated after Blaqbonez threw lyrical jabs at OdumoduBlvck on A-Q’s track “Who’s Really Rapping.”
Though fans are clamoring for a rap showdown, OdumoduBlvck insists the rivalry has gone “beyond music.”
