This change comes after a series of public events surrounding 2Baba’s personal life, which has been mired in controversy since his separation from his wife, Annie, in January.
The drama began when 2Baba publicly announced his split from Annie and quickly revealed his new relationship with Natasha. The media frenzy intensified further when 2Baba proposed to Natasha in February, with the singer insisting their romance had nothing to do with his split from Annie.
However, Natasha’s recent Instagram update, where she now identifies as “Honourable Natasha IDIBIA” with the surname in all caps, is seen as a clear sign of her growing association with the musician.
This change comes just days after 2Baba’s estranged wife, Annie, removed “Idibia” from her profile and reverted to her maiden name, “Annie Uwana Macaulay.” Earlier, 2Baba’s mother, Rose Idibia, had publicly urged Natasha to distance herself from her son, asking her to respect the family’s wishes and move on.
