A Spanish court delivered a verdict on Thursday, finding ex-football federation president Luis Rubiales guilty of sexual assault for forcibly kissing star player Jenni Hermoso. As a result, he has been ordered to pay a fine of 10,800 euros ($11,300).
However, Rubiales, along with three other individuals involved in the case, was cleared of allegations related to coercion. The prosecution had initially pushed for a prison sentence of two and a half years.
