TikTok Star Peller Embroiled in Controversy as Old Friend Claims Abandonment

Nigerian TikTok sensation Habeeb Hamzat Adelaja, popularly known as Peller, has found himself at the center of a heated controversy. A young boy, claiming to be Peller’s old friend, has accused him of forgetting his roots and abandoning him after achieving fame.

In a heart-wrenching video that has gone viral, the boy can be seen rolling on the floor, emotionally pleading with Peller to remember him. “Peller, you forget me, na me and you dey for Ikorodu, we go dey do video together,” he said, his voice cracking with desperation.

The boy recounted how he and Peller started creating content together, sharing meals, and even buying internet data for each other. However, after Peller’s rise to fame, he allegedly left him behind, choosing instead to promote his colleague, JoBlaq.

“Me wey be so, you go come our house, I go give you food, I go buy data for you, now you don make am, you don forget me, I still dey Ikorodu dey suffer, you carry only JoBlaq wey no suffer with us,” the boy lamented.

He emphasized the stark contrast between his current struggles and Peller’s luxurious lifestyle in Lekki, a high-end neighborhood in Lagos. “I still dey Ikorodu dey suffer, you dey Lekki dey enjoy,” he said, tears streaming down his face.
