Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, was taken to the Police Hospital in Falomo, Lagos, after complaining of breast pain. This occurred after Bobrisky spent hours in the police cell at Alagbon, Lagos State.
According to sources, Bobrisky’s discomfort prompted his transfer to the hospital around 2 p.m. yesterday. However, authorities suggest the ambulance trip was a deflective technique to avoid public attention, as the Commissioner of Police for the Special Fraud Unit (SFU) in Lagos State had visited the Nigeria Police Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) to oversee Bobrisky’s transfer to the SFU.
Before Bobrisky was placed in the cell, she was isolated from other inmates and guarded by two armed officers. He was later moved to the ambulance, accompanied by a female nurse and a fully armed police officer .
Bobrisky’s arrest by the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) led to his detention at the FCID, Alagbon, Lagos, on Monday night. His current situation has sparked widespread attention.
