Osimhen Claims He’s Worth Over €100M Amid Chelsea Interest

Victor Osimhen claims he is worth more than €100 million, emphasizing his uniqueness in the football world, according to PUNCH Sports Extra. The Napoli striker, who has recently been loaned to Galatasaray, continues to attract attention due to his on-field success. During the last transfer window, he was among the most desired forwards in Europe, drawing interest from major clubs like Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, and Liverpool.

While Chelsea and PSG were reportedly close to finalizing a deal for him, talks broke down due to his €130 million release clause, ultimately leading to his loan move to Turkey. Recently, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano indicated that Chelsea is eyeing a £40 million offer for Osimhen in January. However, some fans consider this figure low for the reigning Africa Player of the Year, especially given the clarification from Napoli that no negotiations are currently underway despite ongoing discussions at Stamford Bridge.

In light of these developments, Osimhen asserted, “I am worth more than €100m,” stressing that his skills and contributions on the pitch justify a high valuation. He acknowledged the varying opinions on his worth, with some estimates ranging from €15 million to upwards of €150 million.

Since his arrival in Turkey, Osimhen has made an immediate impact, scoring twice in a thrilling 3-3 match against Kasımpaşa and accumulating two goals and four assists in just four games. He transferred to Napoli from Lille in the summer of 2020 for a then-record fee of €70 million, plus an additional €10 million in bonuses, and played a pivotal role in securing Napoli’s first Scudetto in over 30 years during the 2022/23 season, finishing as the league’s top scorer with 26 goals.
