Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, the wife of Akwa Ibom State Governor Pastor Umo Eno, has passed away.
The state Commissioner for Information, Ini Ememobong, confirmed her death in a press release early Friday morning. She died on September 26, 2024, in a hospital, surrounded by her family.
The statement, titled “Unexpected Sunset,” expressed deep sorrow over the loss of the First Lady, saying, “It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Her Excellency, Pastor Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, wife of the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, after a period of illness.”
She peacefully departed on September 26, 2024, with her family by her side. The family has accepted this loss as part of God’s plan and requests the prayers and support of compassionate individuals during this challenging time.
