Liverpool is reportedly interested in Real Madrid’s standout talent, Rodrygo, and is preparing a substantial bid to acquire the Brazilian forward.

At just 23, Rodrygo may be facing his final months at the Santiago Bernabéu if the Premier League’s offers prove enticing for both him and the Spanish club.

As reported by Fichajes, Liverpool is one of the frontrunners to sign the Brazilian and is willing to present a bid around €100 million. While Real Madrid has no immediate plans to let Rodrygo go, they don’t view him as untouchable, and offers from England could be difficult to resist.

Fichajes highlights that Liverpool sees Rodrygo as an ideal successor to Mohamed Salah, who might be nearing the end of his time at Anfield.

They note, “Liverpool considers Rodrygo a perfect candidate to take over from Salah, who could be in the final stages of his tenure at Anfield. The Brazilian’s knack for turning games and his impressive performance in the box make him an excellent option for the Reds. At 23, he has already made a significant impact at Madrid, with 57 goals and 43 assists in 225 appearances, showcasing remarkable maturity in top competitions like La Liga and the Champions League.”

Despite valuing Rodrygo’s skills, Real Madrid is known to entertain substantial offers for its players.

Fichajes adds, “The club understands that the Premier League presents lucrative contracts and attractive opportunities for young talents, and Rodrygo might be tempted by a new challenge, especially if Liverpool can offer an appealing sporting project.”

The summer of 2025 could be a crucial turning point in Rodrygo’s career, with Liverpool poised to make a major move for the young star.
