Nigerian-American award-winning Afrobeats sensation, David Adeleke, popularly dubbed Davido, has arrived in New York City to perform at an official event during the 78th United Nations General Assembly.
The musician, who revealed that this would be his first time attending the assembly, expressed his excitement on X, saying, “Touchdown New York City for the #UN General Assembly… My first time attending should be interesting. Also performing tonight at one of the events! Catch me if you can!”
Davido joins fellow Nigerian disc jockey and musician, Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, who hosted an opening session at the United Nations General Assembly.
