Dr. Rabiu Kwankwaso, the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has expressed his determination to win the 2027 presidential election.

Speaking on Saturday at the inauguration of the NNPP Secretariat in Katsina, Kwankwaso stated that his party is ready to take over the presidency and other positions across the country.

According to him, the NNPP is ready to take over the presidency, he attributed his confidence to the party’s growing strength and the decline of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
He said, “I wish to remind you that Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is already dead, because we were in the party, since they have gone out of the line, we decided to check out.”

He urged Nigerians, particularly women and youths, not to allow themselves to be deceived by money or other things during the next elections.

Additionally,Kwankwaso commended the party’s leaders and stakeholders for renovating the state secretariat, stating that it is a step towards success. He also pledged support for a malnourished child, Abubakar Ibrahim, from the Yammawa area of Katsina.

The NNPP state Chairman, Alhaji Armaya’u Abdulkadir, emphasized the need for grassroots sensitization to educate members on the party’s new logo, symbolizing education for all.
He said, ”There is the need for the party to embark on grassroots sensitisation to inform the members on the importance of the new logo.”
