The Secretariat of the Social Democratic Party of Nigeria, Delta State Chapter was agog on Saturday 7th September, 2024 when the state chairman, Barr. Phillip Adu-Odogwu hosted local government chairmen of the party from the 25 local government areas of Delta State.
It was an interactive session that created a platform for every chairman to x-ray the performance of the party in the last circle of elections and also make suggestions towards a better outing in 2027.
The chairman set the tone of the meeting when he took the house back into memory lane. He stated categorically how MKO Abiola used the party platform to win the 1993 presidential election. He also talked about Chief Olorogun Felix Ibru who used the social democratic party platform to become the first democratic governor of Delta State.
The state chairman stated the vision and mission of his team and elicited support from all the chairmen present.
