Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife, and Olori Folashade, his fourth wife, have welcomed a baby boy together.
Using social media on Tuesday, the Ooni shared a photo of himself and the new mother along with the statement, “To God be the glory, great things he has accomplished.”
“Hearty congratulations to the entire House of Oduduwa and Olori Folashade, who today birthed a Prince from the mother side of Ooni Adagba Royal Compound of Lafogido Ruling House and the father side of Ooni Agbedegbede Royal Compound of Giesi Ruling house combined to the Royal throne of Oduduwa.
“Mother and child are doing well to the glory of God Almighty and in line with the spirits of our ancestors. #Otisese.”
Five months prior to this announcement, the royal family had welcomed a set of twins.
Olori Ashley is one of the Queens, the first-class monarch added to the royal court of Oduduwa in 2022. She holds a master’s degree in accounting and finance from the University of Greenwich and is a chartered accountant.
She is a princess from the Lafogido ruling House of Ile-Ife. At the moment, she operates her companies in the UK.
She currently oversees the Ashley Adegoke Foundation, a non-governmental organization that helps widows and less fortunate kids.
Nonetheless, congratulations have been pouring in for the queen and Ooni of Ife, as this will be Olori Folashade’s first child.
