Nigerian Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has turned down a transfer to Chelsea Football Club, opting instead to join Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli on a four-year deal.

According to Sky Sport in Italy, Osimhen’s move to Al Ahli is expected to earn his current club, Napoli, a fee of £67.3m (€80m) plus add-ons. This development comes as a surprise, as Osimhen had previously agreed to join Chelsea on a lucrative deal worth €350,000 per week.

However, it appears that Osimhen has changed his mind, preferring to ply his trade in the Saudi Pro League with Al Ahli. This move marks a significant twist in Osimhen’s career, as he had been touted to make a high-profile move to the Premier League.

The details of Osimhen’s decision are still emerging, but it is clear that he has chosen to reject Chelsea’s offer in favor of a move to Saudi Arabia.
