First Lady Applauds Kekere-Ekun as Acting CJN

Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady, extended her congratulations to Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun on her recent swearing-in as the Acting Chief Judge of Nigeria. Sharing her message on X.com, Tinubu lauded this appointment as a landmark achievement for Nigerian women and girls. She pointed out that this milestone stands as a beacon of inspiration for young Nigerians, demonstrating that dedication, perseverance, and integrity can lead to the summit of any profession.

Tinubu also expressed her unwavering confidence in Kekere-Ekun’s ability to steer the judiciary with excellence. She wished her a tenure filled with success, innovation, and progress in the administration of justice. Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun was officially sworn in as Nigeria’s 23rd Chief Justice by President Bola Tinubu, following the retirement of Justice Olukayode Ariwoola.
