A devastating incident occurred on Monday, July 23, 2024, at Tai Solarin University of Education in Ijagun, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, where two first-year female students were allegedly raped by suspected robbers.
According to eyewitnesses, the suspects invaded the students’ apartments around 12:30 am, forcing them to surrender their personal belongings.
The robbers, who were armed with guns, then led the students to an uncompleted building on campus, where they took turns raping them. The victims were left traumatized and physically injured.

She said,”The incident was reported at the Igbeba Police Division at about 10:00 am. Our operatives immediately combed the area in search of the suspects. Efforts are in top gear to arrest everyone involved in the crime.”
