With a pledge to review the national minimum wage legislation every three years, President Bola Tinubu has approved N70,000 as the new minimum wage for Nigerian workers.
Following the organized labor and government meeting, Mohammed Idris, the Minister of Information and National Orientation, revealed this.
Leaders in the labor movement attended the meeting, including Festus Osifo of the Trade Union Congress (TUC) and Joe Ajaero of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC).
