A Nigerian Air Force helicopter crashed in Tami village, Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State, on Monday morning, but fortunately, the pilot survived the incident.

According to eyewitnesses, the helicopter, which was on a routine operational flight, experienced technical difficulties and crashed at around 5:00 am, causing alarm among residents. However, the pilot’s quick execution of emergency protocols ensured his safety, and he emerged from the wreckage with minimal injuries.

Locals quickly gathered at the crash site, offering assistance and expressing relief that no lives were lost. A team of military officers from the Nigerian Air Force soon arrived to secure the area, conduct an initial investigation, and cordon off the site to prevent unauthorized access.

While the cause of the crash remains unknown, an investigation is expected to be launched to determine the factors leading to the incident. The Nigerian Air Force has not released an official statement yet, but the swift response of the military and the fortunate survival of the pilot have been widely reported.

More details coming up shortly.
