The Lagos Mainland and District Society of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) has appointed Mr. Ini Esau as the chairman for the 2024/2025 term. Esau, now the 30th individual to hold this position, was elected and formally inducted along with other executive members in Lagos.

In a press release shared with The PUNCH on Wednesday, Esau expressed his gratitude to the district members for entrusting him and his fellow executives with leadership responsibilities.

Ini Akpabio, the CEO of Growth Stack, a company specializing in ERP software implementation, extended his congratulations to the new executive team. He commended Esau’s remarkable leadership skills and steadfast commitment to the accounting profession.

Akpabio remarked, “Ini’s outstanding leadership abilities and dedication to the profession are truly admirable. We are confident that under your stewardship, the District Society will continue to excel, setting higher benchmarks for excellence and service in the accounting sector.

Your vision for promoting collaboration and professional growth resonates deeply with our principles, and we are eager to support you in any way possible.”

ICAN serves as the premier professional organization for chartered accountants in Nigeria.
