Nick Imudia, the former CEO of Konga, a major Nigerian e-commerce company, have been reported to have killed himself .

On Tuesday, June 25, 2024, in the evening, Imudia was reported to have committed the deed by jumping from the balcony of his flat in the Lekki neighborhood of Lagos State.

The businessman allegedly called his brother in the United States before he passed away to give him instructions on how to divide his money and to reassure his young daughter that he would always be there for her.

As to a post on TheWill, friends, family, and connections of Imudia remain shocked as to why he would take his own life.

Imudia, a native of Delta State’s Ika South Local Government Area, was previously wed to the mother of his young daughter.

The irreconcilable conflicts caused the marriage to end.

On Thursday, Punch correspondent received confirmation of the case from Benjamin Hundeyin, the Public Relations Officer of the state police.

“Yes, it is true. He committed the act on June 25,” Hundeyin said.
