The 62-year-old criminologist and lawyer from Delta State ran as the governorship candidate for the Social Democratic Party in the 2023 Delta State election. He also served as a Minister of State for Education.
Born in Sapele in 1961, he attended schools in Delta State and Lagos before pursuing further education abroad. After returning to Nigeria, he worked at the Police College in Ikeja during his National Youth Service and later excelled in law school at the University of Lagos. He has investments in various companies in Nigeria, including GKO Group of Companies, Geekos Investments, Woodridge Hotels Group, and Robinson Shopping Plaza in Warri.
