A fresh controversy has emerged over the tragic death of U.S.-based Nigerian cardiologist Dr. Ikenna Erinne, as his father-in-law, Francis Van-Lare, has debunked claims that he took his own life due to a $15,000 monthly child support obligation.
In a statement, Van-Lare clarified that Erinne’s child support payments were actually set at $1,900 per month, contradicting viral reports that suggested a much higher sum. He also disclosed that the late doctor had struggled to make full payments on multiple occasions.
The circumstances surrounding Erinne’s death have sparked heated discussions online, with some sympathizers portraying him as a peaceful individual who was overwhelmed by financial burdens.
