Football Fans in Ghana vandalize stadium after shocking home defeat to Angola in Kumasi, Ashanti on Thursday, September 5, as they agitated violently after the game.

Felicio Milson, a substitute player was able to score a goal in the late minutes of the match, securing a 1-0 victory for Angola over Ghana in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The defeat marked Ghana’s first loss at the Baba Yara Stadium since 2000. Despite having more shots at goal and possession, Ghana couldn’t break down the Angolan defense.

Some Ghanaian football fans were seen in a viral video destroying some facilities at the stadium to protest against the defeat.

In another result, Burundi won 3-2 away to Malawi in Group L, with Mokono Eldhino scoring the match-winner in the 87th minute. This result puts Malawi on the back foot in a group completed by Burkina Faso and 2022 champions Senegal.

Tunisia secured a 1-0 victory over Madagascar in Group A, with Ferjani Sassi netting the winner in the 98th minute. Additionally, the Central African Republic overcame Lesotho 3-1 in El Jadida, with Louis Mafouta scoring twice.
