Osimhen seals Deal with Chelsea

Victor Osimhen is reportedly on the verge of fulfilling his Premier League aspirations, having reached an agreement to join Chelsea with a weekly salary of €350,000. This amount is €150,000 less than the €500,000 per week initially requested by the Napoli striker, who had to adjust his expectations as the summer transfer window approaches its close in the next 48 hours.

This development corroborates earlier reports from Italy, indicating that the extended negotiations between Chelsea and Napoli are drawing to a close, with Napoli apparently accepting the London club’s offer for the Nigerian forward.

In a related development, Al Ahli has intensified their efforts to acquire Osimhen, with Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealing that representatives of the Saudi Pro League club are set to fly to Italy to expedite the transfer.

Chelsea appears determined to secure a new striker before the transfer window closes, with Osimhen, Jhon Duran, and Ivan Toney—who is also attracting interest from Manchester United—being the primary targets.

Napoli, eager to offload the former Lille player, is open to any viable solution, as they seek to finalize a deal. Paris Saint-Germain, once considered a top contender for Osimhen, has since shifted its focus to alternative options, a decision validated by their strong start to the season.
