The scheduled orientation course for the 2024 Batch ‘B’ Stream II has been released by the National Youth Service Corps.
The announcement was made in a circular titled “2024 Batch “B” Orientation Course” dated August 7, 2023. It was signed by the Director, PRS, Ahmed Ikaka, for the Director General of the corps.
The circular noted that the orientation exercise will take place across all 36 states of the federation, including the Federal Capital Territory.
The orientation course is scheduled to start on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, and registration will be open from August 28 to August 30.
The registration deadline is Friday, August 30, 2024, at midnight.
The swearing-in ceremony, a significant event marking the official start of the service year for the new corps members, is scheduled for Friday, August 30, 2024.
The course will then proceed through various activities aimed at preparing the corps members for their service year, culminating in a closing ceremony on Tuesday, September 17, 2024.
