Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State recently announced a minor reshuffle within the State Executive Council, aimed at optimizing administrative efficiency and strategic governance. The changes, disclosed through a statement by Rafiu Ajakaye, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor in Ilorin, involve key commissioners assuming new responsibilities.

Mrs Justina Afolashade, formerly overseeing Social Development, has been reassigned to lead the Ministry of Women Affairs. Concurrently, Mrs Bosede Buraimoh, who previously managed Women Affairs, now takes charge of the Ministry of Social Development. Additionally, Mrs Nafisat Buge, the former Commissioner for Youth Development, transitions to the Ministry of Environment, while Mr Shehu Usman, who previously led the Ministry of Environment, assumes the role of Commissioner for Youth Development.

These adjustments, effective immediately, reflect Governor AbdulRazaq’s commitment to enhancing service delivery and governance effectiveness across various sectors. By strategically realigning leadership roles, the government aims to harness specific expertise and experience to better address the evolving needs of Kwara State. The reshuffle underscores a proactive approach to governance, ensuring that leadership positions are filled with individuals best suited to drive impactful policy implementation and development initiatives.

Moving forward, these changes are expected to streamline administrative processes, foster collaboration among ministries, and ultimately, contribute to the overall socioeconomic advancement of Kwara State under Governor AbdulRazaq’s leadership.
