A chieftain of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Buba Galadima, has expressed confidence that the party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, will emerge victorious in the 2027 presidential election.
Galadima, however, alleged that President Bola Tinubu might refuse to accept the outcome of the election if Obi defeats him, claiming that the president could declare himself the winner.
Speaking on the political situation ahead of the 2027 general election, Galadima said the NDC remained confident in Obi’s chances and believed the former Anambra State governor had the support needed to challenge the incumbent.
