Portuguese giants SC Braga have signed Nigerian teenage defender Adebisi Olamikun from Nigeria Premier Football League club Inter Lagos, marking the latest step in the youngster’s promising career.
Inter Lagos announced the transfer on their official X account, confirming the departure of the 18-year-old, who has emerged as one of the country’s most exciting defensive prospects.
The left-footed centre-back is believed to have agreed to a long-term contract with Braga in a deal reportedly worth €50,000.
Olamikun has already linked up with the Portuguese side and will initially feature for Braga’s youth team as he continues his development with the aim of breaking into the senior squad. His move comes after an impressive spell at Inter Lagos, where his calmness on the ball, defensive intelligence and consistent performances attracted interest from Europe.
