Real Madrid have confirmed that Florentino Pérez will remain the club’s president after winning the latest presidential election held by the Spanish giants.

In an official announcement published on the club’s website on Monday, the Electoral Board revealed that Pérez secured a comfortable victory after all votes were counted.

“Once 100% of both in-person and postal votes were tallied, the candidacy led by Mr. Florentino Pérez has been declared winner of the election for President and Board of Directors of Real Madrid,” the statement read.

Pérez reportedly received 21,741 votes, which accounted for 65% of the total votes cast.

His opponent, Enrique Riquelme, finished with 11,814 votes, representing 35%.

The board confirmed that Riquelme’s ticket also completed the election process with a significant minority share of the vote.

With this result, Pérez continues his long-running tenure as Real Madrid president, overseeing another term at the helm of the club.

He will be supported by a board that includes Vice Presidents Eduardo Fernández de Blas, Pedro López Jiménez, Enrique Sánchez González, and Enrique Pérez Rodríguez, along with Secretary José Luis del Valle Pérez and other appointed members.

This re-election further extends Pérez’s influential leadership at Real Madrid, a role he has held during one of the most successful eras in the club’s history.
