This event will determine the matchups and groupings for the tournament, which promises to showcase the best of African women’s football.

CAF officials said the draw will bring together representatives from participating nations, football stakeholders, and media, offering fans their first look at potential clashes and rivalries. Morocco, the host of the 2026 edition, will also feature prominently, highlighting its preparations for welcoming the continent’s top teams.

The 16 teams that have qualified for the tournament are: hosts Morocco, Nigeria, Algeria, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Mali, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, and Zambia. These nations will discover their groupings and fixtures during the draw, setting the stage for an exciting competition.

The WAFCON 2026 final draw marks a key milestone in building anticipation for the tournament. CAF has stressed that the process will be fully transparent, ensuring fairness for all participating teams. The competition itself is expected to captivate fans and continue promoting the growth of women’s football across Africa.
