Kai Trump 18 year old , granddaughter of former U.S. President Donald Trump, is set to mark a major milestone in her budding golf career as she prepares to join the LPGA Tour for the first time next month.

As reported by BBC Sport, Kai has been offered a sponsor’s invitation to take part in The Annika, one of the LPGA’s top tournaments with a $3.25 million prize fund. The event is scheduled for November 13–16 at the Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida.

The talented teen, who is the first daughter of Donald Trump Jr., has also committed to play college golf at the University of Miami starting in 2026. She called her upcoming debut a huge leap toward achieving her dream of competing against the best female golfers in the world.

“My dream has been to compete with the best in the world on the LPGA Tour. This event will be an incredible experience. I look forward to meeting and competing against so many of my heroes and mentors in golf as I make my LPGA Tour debut,” Kai Trump said in a statement.

Kai is expected to share the field with some of the most accomplished names in women’s golf, including world No. 2 Nelly Korda, who claimed her third title at the same tournament last year, along with Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson, and 2023 winner Lilia Vu.

The LPGA commended her influence, highlighting her role in drawing younger audiences to the sport.

“Sponsor invitations are an important way to spotlight emerging talent and bring new attention to our tournaments and the LPGA. We’re excited to see her take this next step in her journey,” said Ricki Lasky, the LPGA’s Chief Tour Business and Operations Officer.

Away from the greens, Kai has built a major online following, amassing over six million social media followers, and recently launched her own clothing and lifestyle line, further expanding her brand beyond the world of golf.
