Atlantic Exhibition Nigeria Limited, a foremost organiser of trade fairs and industry events, has announced the comeback of BUILDMACEX 2026, one of West Africa’s most prominent expos for building, construction, and engineering technology. The event is slated for April 22–24, 2026, at the Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, and will unite top professionals, investors, manufacturers, and innovators to explore the role of modern technology in shaping future building and infrastructure design.

Now in its 10th year, BUILDMACEX has become a cornerstone event for the region’s construction ecosystem. The 2026 edition aims to spotlight emerging trends, sustainable solutions, and digital transformation reshaping how structures are planned, built, and managed. It will feature extensive showcases of state-of-the-art construction tools, modern materials, and intelligent systems that are redefining cities and communities across Africa.

Organisers revealed that this edition will put a major focus on eco-conscious practices, including energy-efficient materials, renewable energy integration, and environmentally responsible construction techniques designed to reduce carbon impact. Participants will also benefit from a series of technical workshops, seminars, and expert panels, where industry leaders and policymakers will discuss future opportunities, innovations, and strategies for the sector’s growth.

A core attraction of BUILDMACEX 2026 will be its business networking sessions, offering a platform for architects, engineers, developers, contractors, and suppliers to build partnerships and explore new markets. Attendees will also experience interactive demonstrations featuring cutting-edge machinery, smart building systems, and digital tools that enhance construction quality, safety, and speed.

Speaking on the upcoming event, Mrs. Vivian Godonuve, Event Manager at Atlantic Exhibition, said BUILDMACEX continues to play a critical role in advancing discussions around infrastructure development in West Africa. She emphasized that the 2026 edition is designed to highlight how technology and innovation are transforming the construction landscape. “BUILDMACEX 2026 goes beyond display stands,it is a collaborative space where ideas evolve into actionable projects and partnerships that will strengthen the African construction industry for years to come,” she stated.

Mrs. Godonuve added that the exhibition presents an unmissable opportunity for professionals seeking to remain relevant in an ever-evolving global industry. Visitors will gain exposure to the latest international breakthroughs influencing how projects are conceptualized and executed. Additionally, the event will offer in-depth discussions on policy direction, sustainability models, and urban development frameworks that are shaping the future of African infrastructure.

More than an exhibition, BUILDMACEX 2026 will serve as a strategic hub for collaboration, investment, and professional growth, helping participants access modern solutions that improve efficiency, reduce operational expenses, and deliver sustainable value. The event underscores Atlantic Exhibition Nigeria’s commitment to fostering innovation, resilience, and progress within the continent’s building and construction environment.
