Coach Nancy Nnadi, Managing Director of EeZee Conceptz Limited, has formally retracted previous allegations made against award-winning gospel singer Mercy Chinwo. The retraction, made via Nnadi’s official Instagram page, marks the end of a months-long dispute that involved legal action and public controversy.
In her statement, Nnadi acknowledged her earlier missteps and expressed a commitment to peace and reconciliation. She wrote, “On the advice of my lawyer, and for the sake of peace and the love of God, I retract my earlier post about Minister Mercy Chinwo and pray Almighty God to perfect the ongoing settlement facilitated by the Fathers of Faith between her and EeZee Conceptz.”
This development comes in the wake of a defamation lawsuit filed by Chinwo’s legal team, Law Corridor, led by Pelumi Olajengbesi. The lawsuit was a response to serious allegations made by Coach Nancy, including claims of financial misconduct during a contractual fallout involving EeZee Conceptz and its founder, Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu, popularly known as EeZee Tee.
To counter the accusations, Chinwo’s legal team presented comprehensive evidence—including signed contracts, payment records, and digital communication trails—demonstrating her transparency and upholding her reputation for integrity and professionalism.
As part of the legal resolution, Coach Nancy agreed to delete the controversial video published on February 4, 2025, issue a public apology, and refrain from making further defamatory remarks. All stipulated conditions have now been met.
In response, Chinwo’s legal counsel commended her for choosing “truth over noise and justice over vengeance,” noting that she displayed grace, restraint, and spiritual maturity throughout the ordeal.
The matter was ultimately resolved through mediation by the Fathers of Faith—respected leaders within Nigeria’s Christian and gospel music community—who guided both parties toward a peaceful settlement.
With the retraction now public, Mercy Chinwo has been fully cleared of all allegations. Widely celebrated for her powerful voice, spiritual depth, and unwavering moral conduct, Chinwo remains one of Africa’s most revered and trusted gospel ministers.
